Western Australia’s original brand outlet shopping experience – Watertown Brand Outlet Centre, is set to open a new dining precinct as part of a strategic investment into the rejuvenation of the city fringe Watertown in West Perth.

Managed by Lease Equity on behalf of Far East Organization, the Hames Sharley designed refurbishment will provide shoppers and visitors with a space to taste their way through a diverse range of Asian and multicultural cuisine eateries and create an engaging and welcoming experience for shoppers and locals as they enter the centre.

“The dining precinct is a welcome enhancement to the Watertown offering. We have some of the world’s best brands attracting customers from all over Perth and tourists. We are excited to be adding this precinct to respond to the customer and retailer demand,”  said Jim Tsagalis, Managing Director of Lease Equity.

Construction of the new dining precinct, being undertaken by Perth builders, Hoskins Contracting, commenced in April 2022. This latest expansion in Watertown is set to open in time for Christmas 2022.

Offering more than 1,000m2 of F&B spaces, with both dine-in and takeaway options, shoppers and visitors can conveniently enter the heart of the dining precinct via Wellington Place.

Boasting 11 eateries that joins more than 100 specialty and outlet stores, the entrance will be filled with the sights and smells of mouth-watering food, enticing patrons to enter.

Shaw Lay See, Chief Operating Officer for Australia Properties at Far East Organization, said: “The committed vision of Far East Organization, together with our partners to further the transformation of Watertown Brand Outlet Centre, is actualised with an uplift and creation of a new dining precinct. This will inject greater relevance and appeal to customers. We invite retailers – both current and new – to join us on this journey in enhancing the vibrancy of this city destination.”

Floor-to-ceiling murals created in 2021 by local artist, Perth-based muralist Susan Respinger, have transformed the inside walls into an exciting canvas, revitalising spaces and amplifying engagement with the community and experience within Watertown.

Open 7 days a week, Watertown Brand Outlet Centre, it is home to more than 100 retailers, offering a diverse mix of international and Australian brands specialising in fashion, accessories, gifts, homewares, leisure and sportswear.
