Walker Corporation’s Parramatta Square outdoor dining precinct opened last week, setting a new benchmark in dining for the growing CBD of Parramatta. The food and beverage precinct sees some of Sydney’s largest hospitality names make the move to Western Sydney for the very first time.

On Wednesday 21 October the precinct welcomed CicciaBella, Maurice Terzini’s Italian Neighbourhood Trattoria + Bar. Famous for his Bondi Icebergs Dining Room and Bar venue, Terzini opened his first venture in Sydney’s western suburbs. LILYMU also now joins the lineup, opened by the team behind Sydney’s Nour and Henrietta, with a menu inspired by Chinese and south-east Asian cuisines.

Maurice Terzini , owner of CicciaBella Trattoria + Bar  said: “Parramatta Square is an incredibly exciting development, revitalising the city centre and creating a new culinary experience in Parramatta.”

Parramatta Square combines commercial and retail where customers and staff can enjoy one of the most integrated professional spaces in Parramatta, making it an effortless experience to connect with shopping and dining options throughout the working day and well into the evening.

Fishbowl

The precinct has already welcomed the Japanese inspired salad bar Fishbowl and Australian burger shack Betty’s Burgers to the public square. On completion, this unparalleled development in the heart of Parramatta will accommodate a surging locality consisting of 23,000 workers.

Rivareno Gelato, the legendary gelataria that offers more than 26 flavours, has opened along with Melbourne-based Sushi Yuzen, which has launched its first restaurant in Sydney.

Abby Moubadder and Jorge Farah, owners of LILYMU, said: “Through our unrestricted approach in the kitchen, these dishes, traditionally inspired and curated from China and south-east Asia, also incorporate a fresh, yet delightful, modern perspective in which the quintessential elements of LILYMU itself: admiration, passion and rebirth are all encapsulated on the plate, in meals that you will find curious, yet familiar to dive into. Here, tradition is honored yet peppered with flair; the vibe is intoxicating with an electric air.”

Parramatta Square is situated between Darcy Street and Macquarie Street in Parramatta. The 3,000m2  of open public space is soon to be 9,000m2 and is directly accessible from the Parramatta Transport Interchange and rail link.

On completion, Parramatta Square will have more than 9,000m2 of public space
