On Thursday 2 June, more than 150 guests from across the retail and property industry attended SCN‘s Soul of Retail – The Art of Connection event. The event, sponsored by Shopper, was held at the MCA during Sydney’s Vivid Festival.
The evening started with a welcome from SCN‘s Managing Editor, Leanne Liu, followed by a lively panel discussion moderated by Danny Lattouf, Partner & CSO, The General Store. The panel included:
- Bronwyn Cooper, Head of Marketing, QIC Real Estate
- Michelle Tierney, Chief Operating Officer, SCA Property Group
- Rick Gove, Head of Performance Advertising, Google AU/NZ
- Karissa Fletcher, Chief Marketing Officer, Shopper
- Melissa Prpic, Head of Digital & Marketing – Retail, The GPT Group
Following the panel discussion, Joel Steel, CEO and founder of Komo, ran a live trivia with more than $2,000 worth of prizes distributed to guests. SCN also partnered with Chas Clarkson who supplied a stunning Vivid inspired art installation, created by emerging Sydney designer Angela Lowe-Liddell of EWOL. The larger installation is currently on display at the QVB.
