Plumpton Marketplace, managed by Lendlease, is set to undergo upgrade works to its external dining precinct and internal food court, which will revitalise the centre and create a more vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for shoppers.
The external dining precinct will undergo a complete facelift, featuring a contemporary design to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. At the same time, new seating areas will be installed, providing ample space for visitors to enjoy their meals and socialise with friends and family.
The internal food court will be revitalised with modern furnishings, additional seating options, greenery, and vibrant decor, giving it a fresh and inviting look. The entry portals will also be upgraded, with the removal of the columns positioned at the pedestrian crossings. These works will improve pedestrian accessibility into the centre from the car park.
Jacqui Bell, Centre Manager at Plumpton Marketplace said: “We are thrilled to embark on this ambience upgrade journey, which will significantly enhance the overall shopping experience for our valued customers.
“We believe that these improvements will create a more vibrant atmosphere, making Plumpton Marketplace the convenient destination for dining and shopping in the area.”
The upgrade works are part of Plumpton Marketplace’s ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience. The project aims to enhance the overall aesthetics of the shopping centre, ensuring that visitors can enjoy a modern and comfortable environment while dining and socialising.
In addition to the upgrades, the popular Lebanese-Australian chicken chain, El Jannah, has lodged a Development Application (DA) with council to open its 14th Sydney store at Plumpton Marketplace. Subject to receiving DA approval, El Jannah plans to open later in 2023 and will be located at the middle entry, opposite Subway.
Plumpton Marketplace is committed to minimising disruption during the upgrade process and has carefully planned the works to ensure that all essential amenities and services remain accessible to shoppers. The project will be carried out in phases to ensure a seamless transition and minimal inconvenience to customers.
Works have commenced and are expected to be completed in early 2024. During this period, Plumpton Marketplace will remain open for business and all stores will continue to operate as usual.
