Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is driving retail forward and revolutionising the way we shop for cars by bringing an Australian first shopping experience to Brisbane with the launch of the Automall West precinct this month.
The 2,400m2 Automall West precinct is part of a $40 million project at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and will house more than eight car brands, acting as a one-stop destination for car shopping, servicing, and maintenance.
Brands such as Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover, Ford, Volkswagen, Subaru & Honda will be on display and allow for test drives from the carpark.
The precinct, brought to life by Eagers Automotive, will seamlessly integrate amongst the 350 other retail stores including David Jones and Myer, hosted in centre.
Steven Ihm, Centre Manager at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre is excited to bring this unique experience to the Australian market.
“It’s a whole new way to shop, now you can shop for a new SUV, as well as an outfit for the weekend,”
“We’ve taken eight top car brands and integrated them into the shopping centre experience as another way to elevate our shopping offer and disrupt the industry,” Ihm said.
“Automall West is for the entire family featuring a children’s playground and café,” he said
The space has been designed by Sydney-based Public Design Group – renowned for their innovative retail concepts and blends seamlessly with the shops around it. Along with shopping for a new car, Automall West will offer the convenience of servicing your car while shopping Brisbane’s premier fashion and lifestyle destination.
Eagers Automotive COO, Keith Thornton said: “We know that what customers are looking for in a car shopping experience has changed. By bringing our car sales operation into the familiarity of a shopping centre environment, we’re simply modernising our offering. It’s an Australian first that we couldn’t be more excited about.”
